Who Did This?! Weaves Severely Damage Hair | Amazing Hair Transformations

Imagine not wearing your hair for 5, 10, or
15 years because it’s been badly damaged by wigs and weaves. Feel the relief and freedom you will have
when you finally rock your OWN hair that grows out of your OWN scalp for the first time in
a decade. That’s probably how these women feel when
they leave this salon. The Razor Chic of Atlanta Salon ain’t no ordinary
beauty shop. The women go in with badly damaged hair and
balding spots and leave out with amazing hair transformations. The owner Jasmine Collins aka RazorChic is
a stylist located in Atlanta who restores people’s hair. And she is passionate about what she does. On her Instagram @TheOfficialRazorChic, she
inspires others by posting her clients back stories and their before and after pictures. She offers products to help women grow their
edges and balding spots. And she bashes the black hair industry for
misleading and mis-educating people when it comes to wigs and weaves. Quick disclaimer, I don’t think she has a
problem with wigs and weaves but with the unhealthy way it’s being installed like gluing
it to the scalp. Not only is she vocal about the
issues in the black hair community, she is actively doing something about it. As you can see in this post where she says
quote “on a mission to turn around the black hair industry.” I admire that as I am also on a mission, to
help my sisters and brothers heal, grow, and succeed in every area of their life, starting
with their hair. Razor Chic offer online courses where she
teaches her techniques to other stylist who may be interested. And she offers days where stylist can come
in to shadow her. She is definitely doing it big. Just a few days ago her passion got her featured
in the New York Times. Way to Go girl! So even if your hair doesn’t need restoration,
you couldn’t help but follow her because besides being very talented and successful she is
also a Classy Chic Lady. It’s time for this week spotlight on those
beauty gurus who are shinning out there and Today it’s all about TheOfficialRazorChic,
a stylist who is changing lives with her amazing hair transformations. take a look for yourself.

Why cant black women be happy with what God gave them. Are you ashamed of who you are, as a black woman ? I am a black women woman 65 years old. I love me the way I am. I do not want to live my life trying to look like someone else. Ladies be your self. No more weaves, false eye lashes, fake finger nails. Take the time to take care of what God gave you and be happy.

  • Mia Meow says:

Why glue scalp? Couldn't they use braids coming from the back and cross cross it over forehead and install hair onto that braid with hair that blends with texture of real hair ( this being a solution to camouflage receding hairline or greys in the front? Just asking. Also people need to stop braiding hair too tight and should massage scalp often and take supplements.

  • nanette white says:

I don't think there's anything wrong with weaves or wigs but I think is African American women we have to be very very careful when it comes to our natural hair.

  • Jackie Lee Wei says:

Yep, the human hair that only black women would rather wear when they can easily grow hair from their scalps, but I guess their human hair isn't of good quality and they are ashamed of their nappy hair because our hair is better quality human hair that grows out of our scalps. No other group of women hates themselves more than the black woman and they hate their skin tone. Blame God for having nappy human hair, we are just grateful to help out you people self-esteem because it's so low and everything. Thank you, black women, for helping our children attend the best Ivy league schools and our million dollar homes and nice cars, while you will always live in the projects and section 8 housing and poor, your weave is more important than your children's education, no wonder they are so ignorant and murderous and violent, and you will always be last place at everything you do. Please continue to support us and we will never support any of your causes.

  • Jackie Lee Wei says:

It is so sad how these weave and wig wearing black women allow someone else to dictate how they should wear their hair. I am a man who hate weaves and wigs with a passion! Better yet, I do not understand why these weave or wig wearing black women would want to walk around with another women hair on their head oppose to being thankful for the hair that THE MOST HIGH YAH has blessed them with in the first place. As you can see, THE MOST HIGH YAH has been taking their hair away from them since they do not care about their own hair. I have no sympathy for them what soever!

  • DICK LONG says:

We have a whole generation of black women who have been wearing weave since they were toddlers. They feel not beautiful without it. Black men can't speak on it because if we do, we hate black women ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. I don't want a woman who put that shit in their hair. It's the same as trying to use a kidney that doesn't match, your body will reject it until it eventually kills itself. The same with black women who wear weave. This is proof that their hair is rejecting that cadaver fur but they won't listen. That's their fault though, we will just move on.

May God continue to bless her and her business. It's sad that a lot of our black sisters are wearing these weaves so much to the point that it is messing their hairlines and scalps up. But we are starting to get back to the basics. Wearing our own hair. That made me cry when that lady saw how beautiful she is or was with her real hair styled.

Society and mainly Hollywood .. yes Iโ€™m blaming Hollywood ๐Ÿ˜ก.. Got our BEAUTIFUL sisters wishing to be Caucasian. Itโ€™s called โ€œreversing the spellโ€ But in the mind ..now you tell me : who has big lips, big butts, long thick or short naturally healthy strong hair. ๐Ÿค”Definitely not a white woman. Their hair is lifeless, limp, weak, frail, and thin . It started out with extension braids and calling it โ€œThe Bo Derickโ€ from a Caucasian model. Had sisters extending their hair. Yet most poor minority groups could not afford the expensive stuff like what Diana Ross had.. and so the cheap hair brought in packs for 3.99 back then at any Chinese hair store cuts the wooly hair like a razor especially if you didnโ€™t have chemicals.. Then it went WILD.. from there.. well at least in my error. Now sisters are damaging their bodies with plastic .. lightning their skin and I say itโ€™s โ€œAll In The Mindโ€ a trick using media, commercials, billboards, t.v to tell lies to your vision, white dolls, to mentally have us from childhood hate who we are. Remember all those doll commercials ๐Ÿค”.. Yet on the low..millions of them and Iโ€™m talking (Caucasians) fly from all over the world to see our culture from the Broadway Play
โ€œThe Lion Kingโ€ About the glory of Africa they know who we are.. and Wish to be You! Black People go see your roots. โ€œThe Lion Kingโ€ Broadway PLAY not the movie… so they went to Africa where the Diamonds grow and set up gold & diamond mines & stole everything .. from ivory, oil, petroleum, oh letโ€™s not forget the coffee beans. Oh they love that. I really feel bad for these sisters whose hair is becoming damaged because in their minds they may have felt being yourself is Ugly.
Letโ€™s not forget hair salons where those mean chicks stand above your head KNOWINGly do damage see you with thick heathy hair and month by month their smiling inside seeing you go bald .. knowing a womanโ€™s hair is her beauty! If I was some of these sisters Iโ€™d start taking them to court & snatching their license.
Sorry for this long story guys but this video really touched me. ๐Ÿ˜”

  • Anthony Robertson says:

I'm a guy and I've know this since I was a kid. It's damage from hair being pulled tight over long periods of time. That causes the hair to die and stop growing. Just don't put lots of stain on the base of the hair with lots of tugging and pulling. When I saw her hair was in tight braids under that wig, I knew this was not good. If you do corn rows, you need to be careful on how tight it's done, especially along the hair line.
