What is Seborrheic Dermatitis?

[MUSIC PLAYING] A lot of people get confused between
seborrhoeic dermatitis and dandruff. While they have quite similar
symptoms, seborrhoeic dermatitis is usually much more severe. With dandruff, you may see
some flaking on your scalp, as well as itchiness and redness. With seborrhoeic dermatitis,
you tend to experience more severe flaking or scaly skin,
and a more pronounced itch or redness on the skin. Plus, it’s not just a
scalp that’s affected. You may also experience it on
your face or your upper body. At Head & Shoulders, we have
developed an extra strength shampoo designed to tackle severe flaking
as well as reduce itch, dryness, or redness associated with dandruff. But if you think you might
have seborrhoeic dermatitis, it’s best for you to come to
your doctor or dermatologist to see if there’s a prescription
treatment available. Want to find out more? Visit our website for more tips and
advice from Head & Shoulders experts, just like me, or choose the
