Greetings ! Rheumatoid Arthritis & Diet Basically it happens due to bad diet or eating habits along with poor lifestyle.
If you correct your diet and lifestyle then certainly Arthritis can be cured much earlier than expected. With this you do get good results on reduced Uric Acid & ESR as well. So you must not take heavy food and air substances which I will tell you now.. Food which must be avoided are: Brinjal (Bhate/ Baingan), Potetoes (Aloo), Cauliflower (FulGobhi), Pigeon Peas (Toor Dal) Due to high protien intake Pigeon Peas is not advisable. Eat less Rice (Chawal) . You can have Yellow Lentils (Moong daal) You must avoid sour fruits and substance as in sour buttermilk and curd also must be avoided completely What vegetables you can eat are: Sponge Gourd / Luffa (Gilki), Bottle Gourd/ Calabash (Loki), Pumpkin (Kaddu), Pointed Gourd (Parwal), fenugreek (Maithi), Drum Stick (Surjana), Tomato (Tamator – Non-Sour*). You should avoid Spinach as well, it increases Arthritis. Avoid Pickles as well. You must avoid AC or Cooler usage as well. Also instead of ceiling fan a table fan is much beneficial.
If you are using AC or Ceiling fan then keep yourself out of direct contact of air which they throw but anyway sleeping or being in cold isn’t good for Arthritis patients. Amla (Aavla) pickle is good, you can take it. Take complete meals as in subsets of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its just be aware that whether you are able to
digest your food or not? Take normal diet per your choice but ensure your body is able to digest it. In case you have taken a heavy lunch then try skipping your dinner and take milk while sleeping. It’s a much better option and you can daily have warm milk while sleeping in night. Diet timings are too crucial as well. So please take your Lunch between 9-11 am and dinner between 5-7pm of your timezone daily. Max to max take your dinner by 7.30pm. If you are late by any chance then suggest to take milk and avoid late night food intake. Avoid cold-drinks, you can take juice but ensure its not too cold. Fridge items causes trouble hence dont eat or drink cold stuffs. Lemon is good and you can take lemon juice. Lemon doesn’t affects and rather its good for you. You can take santkripa churna (link in description) or half-squizzed lemon in luke warm water early morning. Honey has no good-or-bad effects, you can take if you want.
