Physically Active with Psoriatic Arthritis

Doctors urge psoriatic arthritis patients
to exercise and stay active. I’m Erin White and this is a dailyRx Minute. Around 15 percent of psoriasis patients will
develop psoriatic arthritis. Both of these conditions flare up when the
body’s immune system begins to attack either the skin or the joints and the skin. Any joint can be affected including the knees,
back, fingers and toes. Therapeutic exercise like stretching and recreational
exercise like riding a bicycle may help. Ask your doctor what other activities may
help ease arthritis pain. For dailyRx TV, I’m Erin White.
