I Tried Baby Shampoo 🍼

check out the curly penny Amazon shop with all of my favorite products. Link down below in the description box Hey ya’ll, so today I will be trying baby shampoo. Thanks to marketing brainwashing, the very first brand I think of is Johnson & Johnson I flipped over the bottle to look at the ingredients to see if there truly is a difference between baby wash and quote-on-quote adult wash Looking at their ingredients I was kind of confused. There isn’t a single natural extract, not to mention it has sulfates Some of their other formulas straight up has sodium lauryl sulfate, which is the worst sulfate. It’s used in dish soaps and laundry detergent here’s three of my personal shampoos that are all sulfate and silicone free. Even this freakin dog shampoo is sulfate free, with at least a Few natural extracts in it. This was a very common theme among all the johnson & johnson washes, and their lotions contain silicones. I found this wash that was quote-on-quote gentle on newborns, flipped it over and sodium lauryl sulfate I kept looking and I stumbled across shea moisture and Burt’s Bees wash. Both of these were sulfate free and contained natural extracts I really like the ingredients in the Shea Moisture one so I think this is the one I’m going to take So here is the shampoo and I’m just going to use it like normal, nam sayin? I’m just gonna put it in my hands. Work it through my scalp, Work it through my hair. So the reason I wanted to try baby products is that I’ve always thought it was weird for companies to Separate any sort of shampoo or conditioner. Like this is for babies, this is for kids This is for—– even like men and women. Like, why do men and women Need different hair products? because if you flip over the bottle it’s the same ingredients It’s not like, “oh the men’s shampoo has testosterone in it, and if a woman uses it she’s gonna grow a penis” It’s all a marketing strategy to sell the same thing in Five different bottles so that they can increase their sales. There was one thing that made me think, well, It’s baby shampoo. You know, it has to be gentle, babies are gentle, whatever. And the baby products I just showed they have sulfates and freakin silicones, and it’s just like What??? the other thing that also intrigued me about like baby shampoo is that they always call it baby wash Because you can use it from your head to your toes right. Like, on your face, on your body and your hair And it’s just like, who’s to say I can’t use regular shampoo like that? because they want to sell the same thing in multiple bottles y’all Now that is the goop and gag of the century. For a deeper clean I’m gonna use my shampoo brush So I really wish there was baby conditioner and styling products, but there isn’t cuz babies have like three hairs So I’m just going to follow up the shampoo with some other Grown-up products and see if I can get some decent wash day results So I just rinsed out the shampoo, and I’m actually really surprised that it was really gentle. Also It’s incredibly soft on my face and hands, so hmm Maybe there is something to it? So I’m gonna condition with the Shea Moisture yogurt conditioner I’m just going to finger comb my hair, and then I’m gonna rinse out the conditioner Now I’m going to style with the curls coconut hair milk. I’m gonna work it through my ends, finger comb and scrunch Now I’m going to style with the curls blueberry jelly. I’m gonna smooth it over my hair, comb it through and scrunch I’m gonna scrunch again with a microfiber towel Then I’m gonna plop my hair for about 10 minutes, air dry and show you the results Alrighty, so my hair is 100% dry and here are my final results. I’m diggin it y’all. Not gonna lie, these are some good wash the results, okay. Let’s take a good gander y’all Let’s take a good gander So the baby wash was actually really gentle, like I’m surprised You know, like, I used to think like oh They’re just saying gentle like because you know babies and what not. Pero like it was actually really gentle so if you Struggle with very dry hair and you’re like, “you know what, every shampoo I’ve ever used dries out my hair” consider baby shampoo But not the whack kind by Johnson & Johnson, real natural baby shampoo Also, if you have babies don’t just buy any bottle that says for babies cuz obviously These hoes ain’t loyal. And the other thing, quit buying Johnson & Johnson bath sets for baby showers, and you know what? That goes to me because I’ve done that at so many baby showers, and I feel so bad because I’m putting their babies in danger but anyways Alrighty ya’ll, so that was my video of me testing out baby Wash let me know what you think down below in the comments Let me know if you want me to try any other products. I kind of want to try men’s products I might grow a dingaling, but it’s all for science So let me know if that’s something you want to see or leave other comment suggestions down below in the comments Thank you for watching, and I hope you have a great day byeeeeeee
