How to get rid of a dry scalp | 3 Hair care tips and tricks | Head & Shoulders

Do you ever get that sensation of a
tight, dry scalp, and your usual hair routine seems to be making it worse? Well, I’ve been there. But I found a solution
that works for me, so I’m going to show you how
to get rid of a dry scalp, talking you through
the signs and symptoms and showing you some shortcuts
to help get rid of the problem. So we’re going to break
this down into three steps. This is the most important step. Many products claim to
moisturize your head, but to effectively
treat a dry scalp, you need to find a product with an
active moisturizing ingredient that works for both your hair and your scalp,
improving the hair’s quality as it begins to go through. Dry scalp can often be a sign that your
hair’s natural moisture defenses have been damaged due to dandruff,
so keep your hair feeling soft and your scalp moisturized to prevent
that awful feeling of dryness. Turn down the temperature. This is a biggie. Your scalp will thank you for it. Play it cool, and keep it
just above body temperature. Stress is a contributing
factor to your hair’s dryness, so looking after your stressed-out
hair is super important. Try using an anti-dandruff
shampoo to add moisture yo your hair without
stripping your scalp’s natural oils. If you are suffering from
a dry scalp, this usually comes hand-in-hand with dry hair. But try to avoid using styling
products to add moisture, and instead opt for a conditioner,
gently massaging it in from the scalp to
the ends of your hair. These tips help me get
rid of a dry m and I hope they work just as well for you. Hopefully I’ll see you in my next video.
