Here’s Why Stress Causes Hair Loss💔😩😢

Here’s Why Stress Causes Hair Loss💔😩😢

Today I want to share something with you. So many of you have been reaching out to me
and have been asking me questions about your hair loss and why do you have hair loss or
how to help you solve your hair loss? One of the things that I want to share
with you is that stress could actually be the cause of your hair loss. as the mental tension and worry caused by
life or by work. However, for most of us stress is just a part
of our daily life. But what I want to share with you is that
stress is a problem in our life and stress can cause serious health issues. And that’s so important because some people
don’t understand stress, a lot of us take stress for granted, but I’m here to share
with you that stress causes diseases, stress causes problems, and stress causes hair loss. So, what happens is the stress starts to affect
our immune system which is our #1 defense against pathogens, bacteria, and viruses, and
this will cause chronic inflammation in our body And what happens, this chronic inflammation
will turn into a disease, it can turn into So, stress triggers an alarm button in our
body and that alarm button it triggers is Now, cortisol is good for our body. However, too much cortisol will cause havoc
in our body. So, today I want to share with you that these
things are so important if you’re wanting to restore your hair then we have to get your
stress under control. I’m going to share with you some foods and
some different things that you can do to help maintain your stress which in turn will help
your hair and your overall body. So, the first amazing product I want to share
with you that can help your stress which in turns will help your hair which in turns will
help your health is, ASHWAGANDHA. and that means it helps your body manage stress. It’s so amazing, I’m going to share with you
some of the benefits that Ashwagandha can do for your overall health. And many of us we see now that we have a lot
of memory issues where we are where we’re not remembering things. Most of the time that’s because of inflammation. But Ashwagandha can help with that. So, let me share some of these benefits; it
lowers your cortisol, and I just mentioned Now, of course, out of all of that that sounds
like that has everything you need for everything you want to do in your life. So, Ashwagandha is definitely one that I want
you to look for and add to your diet, whether it’s for stress or just for health reasons,
it will help your stress it will help your health and it will help your hair. The next thing I want to share with you are
the foods that you can add to your daily diet. And these foods I’ve actually picked personally
and I picked them because they are #1 for fighting stress. So, the 1st amazing food I want to share with
you are Blueberries. Blueberries are filled with antioxidants and
it’s one of the highest berries that is filled with antioxidant. I love blueberries, I tell all clients,
patients and everyone, blueberries is what you need to add to your diet. But because we’re talking about stress everything
that I mentioned to you about blueberries will help reduce your stress and help your
hair to grow. The 2nd one I want to talk about is Spinach. Spinach is a dark green leafy vegetable, and
most of your dark green leafy vegetables are filled with folate, specifically spinach. And what folate does is it helps with your
cardiovascular system and it also helps with emotional health. Spinach is also filled with a lot of magnesium. What happens is when we get stressed our bodies
release the magnesium that we had. So, eating spinach will fill you back up with
magnesium, and magnesium is great to handle stress. The next one on the list is Turkey. So, you get tryptophan from chicken you get
tryptophan from Turkey and some other sources. But what happens is this amino acid actually
changes to serotonin and serotonin actually helps your body it helps your moods and it
actually will help you to sleep better. So, the next one, you guys are going to be
surprised about this one that can help your stress your health and even your hair. It’s dark chocolate. Now, I’m not talking about the sugary candy
bars that you buy, I’m talking about organic chocolate. This chocolate is usually from 70 to 85% pure
chocolate. Chocolate does wonders for your body for your
health and actually for your hair. It actually produces a feel-good compound
and this feel-good compound helps to lower So, adding dark chocolate to your diet can
help relieve your stress. And some of you can relate I’m not a real
chocolate eater but I see some people when they have chocolate they’re like in love. So, that’s what it is it’s that feelgood compound. And so, if this can help reduce your stress
then I need you to keep some dark-chocolate somewhere close to you. The next one I want to share with you is beets. Now, I will be honest with you, I feel some
type of way about the taste of beets. Growing up my mother cooked it and she wanted
me and my sisters to eat it, and I really didn’t like it too much. But now, as an adult now that I know all of
the health benefits of beets I still don’t like it that much, but there’s still a lot
of things health wise that I really don’t like that much that I eat. So, beets are one of them, beets are high
in antioxidants it actually has anti-inflammatory The next one is avocados. Now, I love avocados and avocado is actually
a fruit and avocados contain so much potassium. I think you can get the most potassium out
of an avocado, it’s loaded with vitamin B So again, when you feel a little tense or
you’re feeling stress then maybe you need to just go get an avocado make an avocado
salad or just eat it plain, I like them either way. Then there are pistachio nuts, I’m surprised
I said that right because, off camera I was messing that word up. But it’s pistachio nuts, I love pistachio
nuts. This nut is actually filled with a lot of
potassium. So, potassium is what your body needs
to help you deal with stress, it’s super healthy The last one I want to share with you is salmon
and its wild caught salmon that is really really good to help relieve stress and also
to help your body. Salmon is filled with omega-3 fatty acids,
and these Omega-3 fats helps your body it actually also lowers the cholesterol as salmon
is known to reduce anxiety and salmon has also been in a case study that says that it
is a wonderful antidepressant. So, alone salmon does wonderful things, our
bodies need a lot of omega-3. So, you have it everyone, those are the foods
that I have chosen that you can actually google and research every last one of those foods
and you will find that they have amazing stress relieving properties. And again, I’m talking to you because all
of you are experienced in some sort of hair loss. Well, if we can get our stress under control
then we can manage the hair loss and hopefully stop that hair loss. So again, I’m Debbie from Ask Debbie About
Hair and The Changing Faces Hair Clinic. And I hope the information that I shared with
you today can help you on your healthy hair journey.

im 34 years old and never had hair loss problem before. just as i increased TRT and my testosterone went sky high over the norm (for the last 3 month) i started loosing my hair in extreme speed. i allso started intermediate fasting at that time that could increased my stress on the body and cortisol (didnt check cortisol). my TSH and all the other blood work, vitamins and minerals (apart from T and estrogen) are normal. i must add that i do feel much biger stress at those 3 month from my relationship ! and i had 2 gadolinium injections 3 month ago as well. this are many possible causes. my question is basicaly if i would reduce my testosterone levels to normal, reduce fasting time to 13 hours, increase vitamins and take stinging nettle and minoxidil, would my hair loss rait be reduced and could the lost hair grow b

  • Rena Dempsey says:

Dr Debbie thank you. I don't know if you read these messages but all of a sudden my hair started coming out. Like crazy and fast. I did take DHEA for 2.5 months and originally I thought that was the culprit BUT my doctor said it was not likely given my low testosterone. My free T3 has dropped significantly in the past two months so maybe that's it? I have been following a more KETO diet. And I am concerned that's the real issue. You may want to do a video on this topic because in my searches I am getting a lot of videos on hair thinning and Keto diets. In any case, I am getting the adaptogenic herbs, following diet tips, help my Thyroid etc. you recco. But I am so completely bummed out, like most of your patients! Grrrr….

Thank you mam! But to be honest, all these recommendations will cause us even more stress, such as buying products, using them properly and in time. I know about relief metaphor which is; ''if you wanna reach, you have to stretch''. but i am aiming at more mind altered state, which can make us to be able to choose healthy and live less considered.
