Eczema : How to Treat Eczema #4 Using Exercise, Skincare Products

Hi everyone, my name is sky. And in this video, I’ll be sharing with you my tips and tricks when it comes to treating eczema Now this video is the fourth video out of my five video series titled how to treat eczema Now in this video I’ll be sharing with you how Eczema can be managed and I’ll also be talking about the three types of exercise that I found useful in dealing with eczema and also talk about the skin products that I use on a daily basis and Also talk about how to deal with scarring now We are all familiar that exercise is good for the body because it releases endorphins Increases your energy reduces your risk of chronic disease But for people that do with eczema the problem can happen when you exercise and you sweat and the sweat Feels like you are having s splashed over the joints of your body, right? However in the process of treating your eczema exercise is so so so important together with Embracing a paleo veg diet which are talked about in my second video. So the trick is to find a form of exercise that doesn’t make you sweat as much but you can still enjoy the Healthy benefits of exercise. So here are the top three forms of exercise I found very useful in dealing with eczema Number one is yoga Now if you’re brand new to yoga You might want to try something a little bit small slower pace for example Hutta now you may be asking why yoga Contrary to popular belief you do not have to be flexible with yoga to start doing yoga I found that yoga encourages alignment of your body and mind when you’re getting into a yoga pose Now yoga isn’t just an exercise but it also helps support your emotional and mental well-being Now there’s also one aspect of yoga which I found very interesting which is called Pranayama, which is breathing exercises Now being now when you’re learning pranayama This enables you to regulate your breathing which helps with recovery When you’re able to stabilize your mental and emotional state now, I found the practice of pranayama Especially alternate nostril breathing to be very helpful now if you’re asking where to find yoga class if you’re based in Kuala Lumpur that is a community yoga class and APW basa on every Saturday that is taught by Robin which is free Alternatively, you can also check out meetup comm where there are free yoga meetups in your neighborhood or you can check out the internet if there is any nearby yoga studio that you Are near to where you stay now? I’ve been practicing yoga for quite some time And in the last two to three years, I stumble across two forms of exercise That I’m quite excited to share with you because I think they’re quite beneficial Except that they may not means quite mainstream just yet Now one of them is white ankle if you are asking what is white ankle white ankle is tip white ankle is a type of standing meditation and It’s a 12-step practice that you practice over for one hour by practicing white ankle regularly It would help to loosen up tendon muscles skin and paws and as and as well as to strengthen bones Now you may be asking who is the founder of white ankle? Now the founder of white ankle is Tuan Haji Ali Chang Cheatham who was born on the 1st of December? 1922 in Tianjin China Now he had lost his father at age of 9 and because of family ties He began to learn martial arts at a very early stage now since the time when he started teaching white and Kong The number of followers are currently at a few million Spreading all over the world after only 20 years of teaching white ankle now, I’ll try to include now I’ll try to include a video clip of the founder of white ankle practicing white Hong Kong So you gain a better picture of what the X. It’s like What now you may be asking what are the advantages of learning white I’m calm now with white angkong white. Uncle is a 12-step exercise Which is very easy to pick up and learn now Usually you be sent to a beginners class for about six months then take assessment at the end for six months with the rest of the other practitioners and then You will then move on to the intermediate class where you practice the twelve steps are repeated over and over again So from the time when you’re beginner right until the time your advanced practitioner These are the twelve steps that you practice over and over again. So that is a it’s very easy to pick up and learn Number two, it’s very affordable to learn white and cone. The reason being that This is actually a not a class per se It’s not a class where you pay fees to learn, but actually it’s more of a community Exercise where you can go and join the group and you may pay a very nominal Fee for example for the rental of the whole space that you’re practicing white and cool Now personally, I’ve went to white and cone classes Where if they have it in the evening? And I paid about about 120 Wingate for the space of about six months And that was partly because just to contribute to the rental of the space as we were practicing in a secondary school Now not to say that the IDS advantage with learning white I’m cone, but maybe something that may come across your mind Is that the majority of practitioners in white uncle classes? I usually middle-aged onwards however, I feel that it’s a very good exercise that the younger generation should also pick up and we when we are practicing and now If you are taking up white angkong we should not be deterred by the fact that majority of the practitioners are people who are middle-aged Don’t let the misconception that it’s only for the older generation for you because I feel this tremendous of benefits that come from practicing white uncle now you may be excited and once you know Where can you why Tonko I will put the link in this video itself Now we move on to energy bagua Now this form of exercise is something I’ve recently tried out in recent years and was pretty much excited to stumble across it Now you may be asking what is energy Park WA Energy park wa means that you are. Basically it is basically a walking meditation Around a plant and that plant could be a tree or it could be a potted plant Now I will try to insert a video to just show you what it looks like Now you may be asking where did this practice originate? Well, I stumble across this practice when I went for a meditation retreat that was organized by the founder Bodhi Jin Now this is this photo and Bodhi. Jean was born in 1964 in China and grew up in poverty suffering from illness at a very young age. He studied traditional Philosophy and meditation in Tibet for about 18 years according to the our website He first taught in China then moved on to Canada. You may be asking where can you learn energy Park WA Well, you can learn about Energy Park rah from this body G group that has their own website and also a Facebook page Now it’s it’s quite interesting to also note that body Jin society a body Jin group teaches free classes on Pacwa where they have their Where they have this energy? Where they also have their own park wa practice points in parks around the world Whereby the practice energy Park WA daily now entry to join this energy park law classes is free and also entry to a Practice energy Park WA with a group in a park is also free as well Now, what are the advantages of taking up this form of practice? Well, that’s flexibility to practice indoors or outdoors with energy park where you can practice it indoors as long as you have but As long as you have a potted plant But you can practice it outdoors if the weather is great what and now you may be asking what is like the Disadvantage or maybe like a let a move up slightly pinpoint when it comes to learning energy bagua now personally I find that it takes some time to learn the technique of how to do energy park walk correctly But I wanna find amazing about this group is that the group that practices energy Parkway you can feel this a lot of sincerity and a lot of compassion when they tried to teach the new comments how to practice energy park WA how to practice energy park wa Correctly and you know they don’t even receive any form of payment So I feel like there’s a sense of community When you practice energy Park WA in a group now The other topic that I like to talk about is skin care products that I use now when it comes to treating eczema It is important to note that diet and vitamin supplementation helps a lot I would say diet and vitamin supplementation accounts for probably about maybe 70 to 80 percent of recovery Because inflammation begins on the inside. However, having said that Sometimes you need a little bit of external help. So it’s ok to rely external products now the number product I find which is Amazing because there is virtually like no side effects. There is no There’s no chemicals added to it is coconut oil now in the past when I was dealing with very severe eczema Before my skin too used to be very very dry So before I take I took my shower every single day, I will rub coconut oil on my skin Go ahead and take my shower And then I would feel like my skin was moisturize and this was I guess the only moisturizer I was using at the time Because I did not want to use anything with chemicals and also have any other further additional side effects Now you may be asking why is coconut oil so good for consumption and also external application now the reason why is because coconut oil has antibacterial and fungal Antioxidant antimicrobial properties that can help you soothe your skin There are so second thing is that it helps to reduce inflammation in your system Now you may be asking when I was going through my recovery process from eczema. What kind of skin products do I use? I will share with you this list and bear in mind. I’m not being paid by the companies to actually promote their product So this is what works for me and hopefully it may also help you. Well when I was starting my healing recovery from eczema I use sebum and so on items So now those soaps were recommended to me by my GP, but I did find them to be a little bit on the pricey side So I subsequently switch to a sort of a herbal soap, which I just bought from my grocery store. That’s near my place And there’s nothing fancy with this. So I think it’s just Maybe I guess a lot cheaper than oil is demand sebum and the second item is shampoo I use a sebum an everyday shampoo and this again was on the recommendation of my GP I’ve also experimental other types of shampoo as well. I Found that Zimmermann tends to work for me personally, so I decided to stick with it Number that is this moisturizer for everyday moisturizer when I’m going up Maybe I use a su Qing’s hydrating body lotion Now I find with this brand they claim that they don’t have any synthetic fragrances. No harsh detergents No, sodium laureth sulfate no mineral oils, no parabens basically now another product I found that it was a huge game changer for me was changing up my deodorant now previously when I was dealing with eczema I used to use very Those commercial deodorants that you see income ads. I used to use them a lot and I found after a while. I did not sweat Wishes, which wasn’t really very healthy So I made a switch to change to a deodorant that I found was a little bit much more better for me This is odor XG odor and spray. I don’t even see this but this is odor xeo during spray now this deodorant I felt was much more see for me to use because it didn’t really like she liked my paws under my Armpits so I could have sweat But you’re still pretty much effective in all in minimizing order so this are the list of skincare products that I currently use and found pretty much effective now you may be Now you may ask whether do I use makeup? personally, I’ve pretty much stopped using makeup and I feel like using makeup is not for me because I feel like When I use makeup, I tend to feel like my skin gets tighter and drier So I pretty much done away with makeup top now the other topic that I’d like to talk to you about in this video is how to deal with scarring Now yes eczema did leave a few scars and it took a lot of time to actually get rid of them For example in my lower back. I used to have really like permanent scars, but I found the following products to help tremendously But I found that to me, I feel that this currently I’m still experimenting with products on how to remove scarring as fast as possible But for the most part this are the things that I’ve been recommended and I found to also help so here he goes number one vitamin E oil So I guess this is the vitamin E oil that I use as you can see I didn’t really use it that much because I felt that the consistency was very thick when I was using vitamin E oil so most of the time when I put any like products to remove scarring, I usually product I usually Put them on at night after after taking a bath So the next item is rosehip oil from rose hip or from trilogy it’s apparently from Australia So I’ve been using rose hip all pretty much religiously. I Found that it’s less thick compared to vitamin E oil and there’s also not much of a scent as well So it’s easy for application Number three I use this is my top favorite for sometime is bio oil a specialist skin color. I Pretty much finish up using this product. I didn’t buy it because are experimenting other things as well. I Like this all because was very easy to apply like he glided on my skin when I applied it And also there’s a little bit of fragrance So, you know, I was a little bit undecided whether I should continue using this oil now I’m currently experimenting with pure vitamin C serum. Now this pure vitamin C serum is something I stumble across When I first got to know about current skincare products I basically bought pure vitamin C serum from this company called Althea Which is available in Asia? Basically, it’s like an online platform where you know, they have all this catalogues of all they have all the catalogues of this Skincare products you can place your order online and then you know, they’re going to ship it directly from Korea to you The verdict is to on whether how good is pure vitamin C serum. Yeah Because I’m personally experimenting with it. I feel that when I apply the serum There’s basically no scent and it dries off very easily so I don’t have to worry about staining my clothing or no Standing my bitch. It’s basically, so as of now, I feel like When it comes to recovery from eczema I’m pretty much at the stage where I’m now trying to deal with healing the scarring as soon as possible I know it takes time But you know I’m totally open to suggestions of any products that you find were very effective when he comes to dealing with scarring as We and the end of this video is that in this video? I talked about how eczema can be managed via three forms of exercises such as Yoga, white onku and energy Pacwa. I also talked about skincare products that I currently use. I Also talked about how to dealing with scarring now If you know anyone for example, a family member a friend or a colleague that is currently dealing with autoimmune skin issues for example eczema or psoriasis You’d be great if you could share my video with them and I hope that you found value in my video if you have any Question that you would like to ask when it comes to how do you do with eczema?
