are you wondering could the Epsom salt from the Dollar Tree actually be safe
could it be any good is it the same and the answer is yes epsom salts are magnesium sulfate
and they are highly regulated by the FDA or the Federal Drug Administration if
you look on the back of the package of Epsom Salt you will see the guidelines as long as
there’s a health type guideline on the back you know that this product is regulated like a drug it states drug facts
which means it’s going to be safe there are actually two types of
Epsom salt or magnesium sulfate there’s the kind of Epsom salt that you find in the food and drug stores and then there are some Epsom salts that you would find in say a farm store or a
feed store the Epsom salts that are safe for you to use for your body are the ones
that you would find in the food store the grocery store or the drugstore
that’s why they sell it in the drug and the medicine type department if you look
over different packages of Epsom salt you’ll see that they’re all going to
have that same kind of a fact information drug facts on the back of the package because they’re basically made out of the same ingredient you can find Epsom
salt at all kinds of price points but it’s actually perfectly fine to buy it
at the Dollar Tree there are all kinds of Epsom salt packages that are
available whether you’re in the store or even go shopping to something like Amazon but if you actually compare the price of the Epsom Salt they’re generally more than $1 a pound
which makes shopping for your epsom salt at the Dollar Tree a really nice idea I
have here a one pound package of Epsom salt I picked up at the Dollar Tree and I also have some that I
had from another package from a previous shopping excursion which was far more
expensive you can see them side-by-side can you really tell which is which
epsom salt just is Museum sulfate you can find Epsom salt
that has different fragrances and things like that I like to get it just natural
with no added essential oils no added cents nothing I want just the actual
goodness that you can get from magnesium sulfate what can you use Epsom Salt it for you might ask Epsom salt is great as a detox for your body we actually need magnesium and you can absorb it through your skin bananas are a great source of magnesium and so
eating a banana every day actually makes sense to get the magnesium that you need you might also find that you’ve gotten leg cramps in your legs when you’re
sleeping at night and sometimes people think that can be from being dehydrated
or actually a lack of magnesium adding more magnesium to your diet might help
correct that situation a simple way to use Epsom salt is to fill up your bath
add a cup of epsom salts to dissolve into your bath water and take a nice
long soak it’s also a great way not only just to relax but if you have sore
muscles from perhaps you had a fever you were sick or you had a hard workout the
long bath in the epsom salts can work great are your feet sore fill a dish pan
with some hot water and add some Epsom salt and soak your feet you can also put
