DIY organic lip balm for severely dry chapped lips, eczema, psoriasis

Hey guys in today’s video I’m going to share a recipe for an organic zero waste Lip balm that is healing for conditions such as eczema psoriasis severe dry lips and Lips that are itching and peeling Let’s start with the essential element, which is Beeswax if you are vegan you can definitely substitute Beeswax with soy wax, but in this video. I will be sharing with you the great benefits of Beeswax firstly it attracts water molecules and locks in the moisture It also soothes itching and it’s anti allergenic it also contains vitamin A Which I will get back to in a second, and it smells so amazing with a hint of honey Not only am I using this ingredient for its benefits But it’s also going to harden the lip balm so the more beeswax you put the harder the balm gets and I personally prefer to put equal ratio of beeswax to oil so I grated 3 tablespoons of beeswax and I put it in the microwave the second ingredient is coconut oil It’s great because it’s antibacterial and antifungal It’s moisturizing and smells really good So I’m adding 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to the melted beeswax And then I put it again in the microwave for a few seconds to melt together I also added 1 tablespoon of almond oil which is rich in antioxidants its regimen aids dead skin prevent chapped lips and moisturize your lips And lastly I added the oil of three vitamin A capsules vitamin A Is important for cell production and growth stimulates fibrolasts Which are the cells responsible for developing the tissues that keep the skin firm and healthy so it’s also great for anti-aging And as this a zero waste product you can use any available container to put the ingredients in it until they harden So I decided to upcycle an Altoid Tin To use it as the container for the for the lip balm in this case I’m not using any plastic because the container is metal and I’m also upcycling so the lip balm is good for our health and for the environment And that’s it for this video if you liked it press the thumbs up But if you don’t you can also press the thumbs down and don’t forget to tell me why in the comments And if you have any question don’t hesitate to ask and I will answer In the comment or I will make a new video answering your question Don’t forget to hit the subscribe and the notification bell to see all my upcoming videos, and I will see you soon. Bye

Hey guys I just add few points: when I put the ingredients in the microwave I actually double boiled them using 2 microwave friendly cups 1 that has water and the other contains the ingredients (first beeswax then added coconut oil to it) also if you want to add another scent / flavor that complements coconut oil and beeswax 🐝🍯u can add vanilla essential oil that also has a great benefit of neutralizing free radicals and chamomile essential oil that calms the skin..u can also add few droplets of vitamine e oil which acts as a sunscrean and prolongs the shelf life of the lip balm 🙂

    hope that adds more value
    May you have #aclutterfreelife
