As a salon owner I see a lot of clients
coming through the door with scalp imbalances: Greasy, oily scalps, dandruff,
sensitive scalps and even hair loss. And I believe that it’s good to look like
the salon expert in scalp therapy. So I’m here to talk about a new
BC Scalp Genesis. And a fantastic thing about this range is this targets the source.
With this new range and it’s Super StemCode Complex and really powerful
vitamins it focuses on the scalp and deeply detoxifying and helping up bulb
metabolism, which of course, once the scalp is healthy that is the road to beautiful
healthy hair. First: Scalp Detox and Detox Massage Before starting a detox
service it is important to evaluate the scalp condition in great detail. ‘Diagnosis: Evaluate scalp conditions at partings’ Start with a pricise parting. Check for dandruff, redness, scaling and any other
signs of scalp-imbalances. Lightly rub with your finger on the scalp to check
sebum production. Continue every 2 to 3 centimeters below the center parting.
also check the contours. I can see that Raquel’s scalp is slightly dry and
sensitive. Let’s start with the Scal Genesis Self-Waring Detox Treatment that in combination with the detox massage helps to activate the
blood microcirculation while releasing impurities from the scalp. Apply the prep
treatment to dry scalp, starting with the center parting, continuing over the
whole head every two to three centimeters. Dampen the root area and
distribute with fingers to achieve the self-warming effect. To distribute the
product evenly place the BC Scalp Genesis Massage Tool on both sides of
the head, start at the front and work all over the head. Gradually increase
the pressure while lightly rotate the tool. Start a massage by building a personal
connection with your client by placing hands on shoulders and adding quite
firm pressure. Start with long stroking movements and light pressure. Following
the shape of the head down to the nape while one hand is always supporting the
forehead. Repeat this 3 times. Now place your fingertips in the front hairline,
use firm pressure and move them in circular motions all along the hairline.
Gradually increase the pressure. Again repeat this 3 times. Repeat along the
center parting and work all the way down to the nape. Work in parallel lines on
both sides. Repeat 3 times. In the next step slightly lift the scalp with
your fingers of both hands and release. Work the way over the head. Repeat 3 times.
Then place two fingers at the temples and slightly rotate
for 10 seconds In the next step one hand supports the
forehead, the other hand is placed in the nape. Slide fingers and thumb up lifting the
skin slightly and rotate. Then last but not least using long
stroking movements and light pressure starting at the hairline, work your way down
to the nape again. And repeat 3 times. Two: Cleansing and treating the lengths.
To start step number 2 wet the hair with warm water. Then choose the appropriate
shampoo based on the scalp imbalances of your client. Distribute the shampoo and
you can now use the brush again to massage the scalp and detangle the hair. Rinse out the shampoo thoroughly and
towel dry the hair. It’s time to also treat the hair length, as it looks a
little dry and a little dull. Therefore I’m going to use BC Moisture Kick
Treatment to hydrate Raquel’s hair and give it back it’s shine and bounce.
Distribute the treatment section by section on the hair length and ends
and then leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse out the treatment and towel dry the hair.
Three: Scalp Treatment. For the treatment of scalp imbalance – in Raquel’s case
sensitive scalp – I use the scalp Genesis Soothing Serum. Start to apply the
product punctually at the center parting. Repeat until you’ve covered the whole head.
Distribute the serum with your fingers. If you want you can repeat the
massage steps from the detox massage. But leave in. The scalp will be
immediately soothed thanks to the formula with Vitamin B5. While the StemCode
Complex makes sure the bulb metabolism is secured and the future hair can grow
without any interruptions. Four: Finish You can finish the service with the most suitable
BC leave-ins, depending on your client’s needs. For Raquel’s length I’m using BC Moisture Kick
Beauty Balm, which gives extra hydration and heat protection. Then
i’ll continue with the blow drying. Thank you! – Thank you!
