6 Steps to Heal Leaky Gut and Autoimmune Disease Naturally

6 Steps to Heal Leaky Gut and Autoimmune Disease Naturally

Leaky gut syndrome is a condition that millions
of people have, and don’t even know it. From the sound of it, you might think leaky
gut syndrome only hurts the digestive system, but it can lead to many other health conditions.
Think of the lining of your digestive tract like a net with very small holes in it that
only lets some things pass through. Your gut lining works as a wall to keep out the bigger
pieces that can harm your system. When someone has leaky gut, the “net”
in the digestive tract gets damaged, which causes bigger holes to form in the net, so
things that usually can’t pass through are now able to.
Some of the things that can now pass through are proteins like gluten, bad bacteria, and
undigested food pieces. Toxic waste can also leak from the inside of your intestinal wall
into your bloodstream, causing an immune reaction. This leads to swelling throughout your system
and causes things like: Bloating
Food sensitivities Thyroid conditions
Fatigue Joint pain
Headaches Skin issues like rosacea and acne
Digestive problems Weight gain
Syndrome X If left unfixed, it can lead to worse health
problems like inflammatory bowel disease (IBS), arthritis, eczema, psoriasis, depression,
anxiety, migraine headaches, muscle pain, and chronic fatigue.
Leaky gut syndrome has been linked to other psychological disorders such as anxiety, depression,
and bipolar disorder. So, in many cases, if you can heal the gut, you can heal the brain.
Studies show that the cause of your food allergies, low energy, joint pain, thyroid disease, autoimmune
conditions, and slow metabolism could be leaky gut symptom spreading through your body.
Another problem with leaky gut is that it can stop important minerals and nutrients,
like zinc, iron, and vitamin B12, from being taken in.
There are four main causes of leaky gut, including: 1. Poor Diet
Foods that have a lot of lectins are a bigger problem. Some of the lectins and foods that
cause leaky gut are wheat, rice, spelt, and soy. While you are trying to cure leaky gut,
stay away from all grains, especially those that contain gluten like wheat.
Cow’s milk is another food that can cause leaky gut. The component of dairy that will
harm your gut is the protein A1 casein. Also, the pasteurization process will kill important
enzymes, making sugars like lactose very hard to digest.
Sugar is another thing that can harm your digestive system. Sugar will feed the growth
of yeast, candida, and bad bacteria, which will hurt your gut even more. 2. Chronic Stress
Stress weakens your immune system over time, which ruins the body’s power to fight bad
bacteria and viruses. This leads to swelling and leaky gut. To lessen stress, it’s a
good idea to get more sleep, add fun into your week, and practice meditation. 3. Toxins
We meet up with over 80,000 chemicals and toxins every single year, but the ones that
cause leaky gut are antibiotics, pesticides, tap water, aspirin, and anti- inflammatory
drugs. 4. Dysbiosis
One of the main causes of leaky gut is a condition called dysbiosis, which means uneven levels
of good and bad bacteria in your gut. Using too much prescription antibiotic drugs, tap
water with chlorine and fluoride, and the lack of probiotic- rich foods adds to the
unevenness of good and bad bacteria. If you have leaky gut syndrome, you should
think of trying a leaky gut diet. Here are six foods and supplements to heal your leaky
gut. #1 Bone Broth – broth has collagen and the
amino acids proline and glycine that can help heal your ruined cell walls.
#2 Raw Cultured Dairy – has both probiotics and short- chain fatty acids that can help
heal the gut. Pastured kefir, yogurt, amasai, butter, and raw cheese are some of the best.
#3 Fermented Vegetables – have organic acids that even out the intestinal pH and probiotics
to help the gut. Sauerkraut, kimchi, and kvaas are great sources.
#4 Coconut Products – all coconut items are good for your gut. The medium- chain fatty
acids in coconut are easier to digest than other fats, so they work well for leaky gut.
Also, coconut kefir has probiotics that help your digestive system.
#5 Sprouted Seeds- chia seeds, flaxseeds, and hemp seeds that have been sprouted are
great sources of fiber that can help the growth of good bacteria. But if you have bad leaky
gut, you may need to start out getting your fiber from steamed vegetables and fruits.
#6 Supplements- there are many supplements that boost your digestive health, but the
most helpful are l-glutamine, probiotics, digestive enzymes, aloe vera juice, quercetin,
and licorice root. If you like the video, give it a thumbs up

There are a few ideas for lessening leaky gut
Have a whole food, nutrient-rich diet that avoids foods that irritate the gut
Make sure your digestion is working: You can follow a perfect diet, but if you aren’t digesting food appropriately, it is not going to help.
Find and eradicate underlying food sensitivities – eliminate a suspected food for a period of time
Discover ways to reduce and eliminate stress:eg Prayer, meditation, moderate exercise, adequate sleep, and acupuncture
Consume gut healing foods and nutrients
Balance the gut flora by including appropriate amounts of fermented foods in your diet each day.
    Discover and remove gastrointestinal infections
Try the use of gut-irritating medications:
    Reduce exposure to environmental toxins
Make sure you have enough sleep and avoid overtraining which are a form of stress to your body.

r u kidding me. no grains no milk product. so what we should we eat?

  • Evolving Erinb says:

My own personal experience is, not rejecting a whole food group or groups, because we are not preparing it correctly or eating processed junk along with a healthy food.
The worst of all gut issues comes from chemicals that our food is treated with or made from. Eat a clean whole foods diet. Know your food and prepare it yourself, support sustainable farmers and growers and stop stress, well as much as possible. Our great grandparents and many grandparents for the most part ate wonderfully healthy foods and many lived long productive lives. Sour doughs, home fermenting and cultured foods help and heal the gut, not everything is black and white and as well make sure you seek professional help that is truly educated, not a drug pusher that has never taken the time to study real diets and stays current on break throughs and sound studies, not skewed or agenda based.
But as well enjoying your life and living in peace with what makes you happy. NO DOGMA! It just zaps your own inner balance.

  • omegablizz says:

this is exactly what I have had for 20+ years, and finally in the last 2 years I made huge progress in figuring it out what it is and that the type of food is hugely important, as well as how the food is prepared when it comes to cooking, barbecue is bad while low boil chicken soup is great, I also experience IQ loss and become docile on top of the mentioned symptoms, when the effects are at their peaks, sometimes it would take a week or two to get off the effects, the biggest thing you have to do is to move to your own apartment to have your own refrigerator and the foods stored in apartment, you should stay away from snacks area, yes I have to walk across the whole store to get to chia/flax/supplement area just to bypass the snacks and chocolate area, but it works, smell, sight and availability of bad food is extremely tempting and will ruin all the attempts to fix the issue, avoid at all costs. If you live in parents house and they cook all the SAD food you're doomed if you have a problem with temptation, you need to completely separate the whole thing.

This is so perfect Thank you for this. I grew up with a weak immune. I was always sick. I have migraine syndrome, ibs, psoriasis, cronic fatigue, lots of allergies over 50, nasty unknown rashes, insomnia, horrible anxiety that has stopped my heart allot, etc. None of the doctors can figure this out. They thought jak 2, they said polycythemia, I even cant keep my potassium levels up. I have esophagus dismotility and ulcers spastic bowel and stomach. Cronic pain, horrible athritis im only 40 and cripling fast. This gives me hope. Im on a strict diet. I dont eat grains, I dont use oils, I dont eat sugars, I pig out to yogurts even though im now allergic to milk, I use almond milk its all I can tolerate. I live on protein shakes whey. I eat tons of raw veggies nothing starchy. No shelf foods. Grass fed meats, I take probiotics meds. However I have to live on lyrica to help my pain, I dont do nsaids. I recently became an epileptic out of nowhere. I will discuss this with a genectics immune specialist. Thank you greatly.

This is a great video. I've been fighting autoimmune disease (sever eczema) since I start taking strong antibiotics. Initially, started with bad diet. Sugary food, junk food, and home made "Kombucha". Mild localized eczema and infection was completely cleared by antibiotics, but nightmare started right after. Eczema spread all over my body. Anyone who read this, please do not take antibiotics unless your life is in imminent danger. There are great videos out there talks about natural antibiotics. They don't work as fast as conventional medicines, but these are safe and bring you healing, not temporary cessation of symptoms.
    Thank you for the video.

  • Keep it real says:

You need a slow cooker, cooking good organic chickens for a least 8 hours putting none starchy vegetables in during last hour. You must eat like this for a few weeks. Absolutely no sugar nor grains period! First two weeks is when you hit the antifungals hard then find a good probiotic. Feed the new good bacteria with a boiled apple(prebiotic) cut into pieces. Bring to boil then simmer for 10 minutes. Drink plenty of water everyday. None meat eaters should still boil the chicken and drink the broth. You're not healing your gut without it.

  • Jocelyn Kearney says:

You forgot mold. Why do we totally ignore Toxins from mold? Everyone wants to talk about toxins from bacteria and pesticides and here and there. Meanwhile if you are living in a water damaged building, just know that mycotoxins which are neurotoxins are entering your body via skin, mouth, nose, eyes and they do harm you. Trust me. Be very careful if you have ever had a major water leak in your home! Mold has been used in biological warfare to kill people. I know this because after living in a water damaged building my entire body shut down and I was googling what some of my blood test results meant and numerous articles popped up about Gulf War syndrome. I was like why do I have symptoms and the blood of someone with gulf war syndrome? Oh because they use mold to kill people! But yet there is still an argument that mold can’t hurt you. If people really knew about the invisible spores that were floating around their homes making them so sick, they would be able to help themselves more. But for some sick reason not much is public known about it.
    Otherwise great video!!

    Huge tonsils
Placed on Antibiotics since a child several times a year to cure bad cases of tonsilitis

Finally removed tonsils a few years ago when I'm a little older.
Dr gave me more antibiotics after operation the hospital gave me there other God knows what medication that made my hand fall asleep and gave me all these other sores in places Idk.

Fast forward to me trying the "Vegan lifestyle" cut out arabic/ greek yogurt (a staple and any carbs) all of a sudden go overseas get super sick in two different countries. Take more antibiotics and have some unhealthy options to build back my strength. Come back and I am lactose intolerant to the point of throwing up. My doctor prescribes me more antibiotics (doxy this time) after cystic acne breakout. I go to another doctor he says I have to go on the pill (he made up an excuse and wouldn't give me my results when asked him what hormone was out of balance) also wanted me to take another round of antibiotics. Now dealing with horrible cysts the size of cherry tomatoes on my chin.

Fall into despair, mood and appetite (keeping a carbless sugarless and dairy free diet)

Gets worse when I eat vegetables (healing crisis idk)???

Find out I have candida from another holistic doctor.

    Here's what helped heal me:
    Vitamin C
    Eating prebiotic rich carbs
    Quinoa
    Oats
    Blueberries
    Salmon
    Fish Oil
    High quality Probiotics
Less stress and maintain positive thoughts and shutting out negative ones.

  • Deb Stein says:

If you need extra motivation to get off milk…just watch youtube titled "dark secret of the dairy industry". If you have a hard time eating or digesting meat, look up "where meat comes from" and be sure to watch anything on pig slaughter farms. WARNING, it is incredibly graphic. If you still want to support those businesses after watching, go for Organic Valley, who give pain killers to the cows before dehorning. Kalbani is also humane. Skip Horizon and any other vendor. Just offering what I've learned in my research. There is also a product I heard about called "Restore" that specificaly targets gut healing and mineral supplementation. You can also add probiotics to coconut cream, full fatted, and it will turn to yogurt. Top with fav fruit and truvia…yum. Also, chia pudding with liquid vanilla stevia in it, with some fruit, is fantastic. Mix one cup almond milk, quarter cup of chia seeds, cinammon and dropper of vanilla liquid stevia, shake and pour into dishes. Refrigerate for one hour. Delish.

  • Kibbie Lou says:

Also, take organic ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar), 1-2tbsps before each meal. Chase it down with water, n try to avoid direct contact with your teeth. Like lemons, ACV is acidic and can wear down tooth enamel over time.

Do intermittent fasting. Eat 2 meals per day within 6-10 hour window. Ex: Meal 1 at 10am and meal 2 at 6pm.
Giving ur digestive system maximum time to rest with no food. A natural biological process called "Autophagy takes place when you do intermittent fasting. Autophagy means "self-cleaning". Your body eats away old cells and mitochondria.

Drink filtered or spring water 4-8 cups per day.

    Eat 90+% of whole foods
(foods that grow naturally). Eat organic whenever possible.

Try apple and natural organic peanut butter as a meal.

Begin to listen closely to your body, n how it responds to each specific food that you eat. Your body will tell you what it needs, that is unique to you, in your present condition. You just need to treat yourself and your body with respect, and give it food that nourishes it, and doesn't poison it. Then you can begin listening to it. And it will communicate back to you. You will feel your body react to each food, n some will be a bit too much of this, or a bit too much of that for you. And some foods will be just right. Soothing to the body, and appetizing to you. And your food cravings will begin to mimic your bodies unique nutritional needs.

Change the way you think/your thinking patterns which cause any chronic negative emotion, such as irritation, anger, fear, depression, anxiety, jealousy, etc. All of these negative emotions are attached to, and often caused by negative thought patterns. They can all be corralled and begin to be taken control over by following and practicing the mentality of the Biblical wise old adage: "To accept what I can not change, and change what I can".
Begin to adopt the mentality of "It is what it is". This mindset helps gain self-control over negative emotions of which can master over and torment ones life and their physical, emotional and psychological health. When you choose to "accept" what you can not change, and "change" what you can, then you are no longer at the mercy of the negative emotions. You can no longer be bullied our taunted by those feelings. Bcuz you are not "allowing" emotions to play a part in the situation. You are unemotionally "accepting" that which you can not change, and you are "unemotionally" changing what you can. No need for emotions to be involved. This also makes you face your fears, and to stop feeling excessive pity for yourself, of which cause anxiety and depression.
Doing such develops new mental muscles within you, and you gain control over your emotions and control over your"self". "Self"- control over unfavorable desires and unfavorable emotions develops "character" in a person.
    This is Christian wisdom.
Following the instructions of Christianity teaches people in two fields:
    The heart, and the mind.
The new testament instructs about the ways of the heart. It's goal is control over negative thoughts and emotions and it's apex is "unconditional love" (perfected emotions).
The ways of the heart are instructed by Jesus, within the new testament. These are more feminine in nature bcuz they center primarily on the heart.

The old testament instructs on personal accountability, facing your fears, taking action, congruency in thoughts words & actions, humility and integrity. It's apex is "dignity" (perfect integrity/perfect character).
The ways of character are taught by "The Father", of the old testament. They are about the mind, and about character, and about facing your fears and taking responsibility and taking action. Therefore they are masculine in nature and following these ways will develop masculine based qualities such as integrity. Men are women each have both masculine and feminine qualities. The intention is for each of us to harness both. A heart of unconditional love and a character of dignity. But, they both require "humility". Lowering of ones pride and exposing your flaws and fears and weaknesses and regrets, and changing what you can, through the ways of dignity, and accepting what you can not change. Not with pride, but with humility. That takes great courage. Pride is our armor which protects our vulnerable inner child nature. But, through this process, you purge out the stuff that isn't helpful or healthy for you. And by slowly but consistently lowering your pride, through humility, and facing your fears and weaknesses and regrets, you come to terms with them and gain healthy psychological control
over them. And through the doorway of humility you discover your God given dignity. Your pride is replaced by dignity. But, only through humility.
In this way, you can experience the fullness of life through experiencing the fullness of unconditional love and dignity.
